Founder & President

Michael Key - PresidentMichael Key is the founder & President of OKCS. Michael was born & raised in Indianapolis, & graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor degree in Construction Management, with a minor in Business. Upon graduation Michael took a job with Turner Construction, focusing on commercial projects around the Indianapolis area. He specifically worked on multiple medical building renovations & additions, the International Orangutan Center at the Indianapolis Zoo, & the Hinkle Fieldhouse Renovations at Butler University. After spending time with Turner, Michael had an opportunity to join the Buckingham Companies, where he relocated to Nashville, TN & was promoted to be the project manager on a $110M+ project known as the Aertson. It was a 17 story apartment building, with a Kimpton Hotel, a parking garage, high end amenities, & ground level retail. After completing that project, Michael had the opportunity to relocate to Tampa, FL for Mihaus who is a national developer to become their Regional Director of Construction, & oversee construction in Florida. Michael spent over 4 years with Milhaus taking numerous promotions that eventually led Michael to becoming the VP of Construction, & overseeing all aspects of the construction department. Michael oversaw the pre-construction team, the field operations team, the project management teams, & the construction services team. After serving in that role, Michael saw the need & lack of high quality 3rd party project management companies in the industry, which drove him to start OKCS. Michael serves as the President of OKCS & is responsible for all aspects of the company. Michael stays heavily involved in all projects from start to finish.
